Soul Enigma – Évi’s Story

theatrical investigation · interactive guided exhibition · unusual journey through time · decoding a family history within early-20th-century living spaces

Within the framework of a research initiative by the Gláser Jakab Memorial Foundation, historians and researchers from Teleki 44’ conducted a series of life-history interviews with very elderly people—individuals who personally experienced one or even several wars. These testimonies complement the historians’ research and form part of the background for the newly launched SOUL ENIGMA programs.

The event explores the story of an entire family, based on a script by Simor Ágnes and her brother Simor Péter Dániel. During the exhibition, visitors move through the narrative together with the performers: Fris E. Kata, Lakos Borbála, Litván Ádám, Simor Ágnes, and Vincze Márton.

Historical background: Fris E. Kata
