Yellow-Star Houses (OSA Archivum)
In June 2014, we organized a guided local history tour in our neighborhood entitled “Nem szaroztak, ezek vagány zsidók voltak!” (They didn’ mock around, these were cool hand Jews) within the confines of OSA Archivum‘s Yellow-Star Houses project. The walk presented the 1944 events of 8th District of Budapest, the stories of yellow-star houses, survival with fake foreign documents (Schutzpass and Schutzbrief) and Jewish resistance in Népszínház street.
The Yellow-Star Houses program series started with a guided press tour by Jakab Gláser Memorial Foundation and the OSA Archivum.
